Honestly, I wish that those of you hanging on to the notion that Garcon is a game changing type WR would give it up. He is NOT!!! There is a reason that Washington targeted then signed DJax....#1 being that he is a game changer.... (a back breaker on any play, to be clear) That said, he then commands the lions share of targets, or to be the first option during a game. Garcon is an excellent player for what he offers, and accordingly, just might get more plays because of the presence of Jackson. Jackson on the other hand will never benefit because of the presence of Garcon, because he will forever be the guy that other teams intend to stop first. The question that Garcon has never answered is..........When the first option is taken away, can he win games given his skill set?[/QUOTE]
think Branch & Biletnikoff.....does not matter who can stretch the field, nor terms like game changer and first option. Garcon is darn good all around football player and I don't think he's second fiddle to Jackson.
BTW...teams win games...thanks
now back to your regularly scheduled program
Gee, imagine that!!!! Teams win games, who woulda thunk it?
I am one who actually saw Branch and Biletinikoff play, the idea that Branch could out-run the defenses and sometimes the ball not being a factor, is, to be kind, sort of like being a fan of the Cowboys instead of selecting a professional team to root for.(it's silly) While I agree with you about Garcon, last year was the exception to what's been true about this guy.
