Redskins Opener But Without Carriker and Orakpo

WHile we will get Dunlap, Scott and Allen back.....Moch comes back in 2 weeks and Sims WILL BE UP once the PUP is done.....We need all of these guys! Having Dunlap, Scott and Allen back will be huge for the Washington game...

Redskins lose Carriker and Orakpo for probably the season on both.....

I think it will be a high scoring game with oppty for plays....RG3 looked human yesterday even though he can run..All it takes is 1 hit... He is not a big dude...

We have a chance in this game Im not QUICKLY writing us off...

AND HELL YES OUR DEFENSE SUCKS! IJS

I knew the Carriker injury was bad but had not heard on Orakpo.

RGIII scares me. But what scares me more is the Shanahan offense. Zone blocking schemes, bootlegs, play-actions..... All things that require discipline on defense. Same type of system that shredded us down in Houston last year. You need pro linebackers to play this type of offense and we don't have them.

I'm hoping for an off-day for the Skins offense.

The "Bengals have drafted well" myth is probably the biggest misconception out there. Since 2008 the only good players we have drafted are Andre Smith, Geno Atkins, Andy Dalton, AJ Green and Clint Boiling. It's too early to tell with the 2012 draft, but Zeitler looks good so far.

Steve Smith and Amendola made plays yesterday...if you really watch football DID EVERYONE SEE St Louis come back once the Redskins pass rushers started getting injured???? (carriker and Orakpo) those 2 guys are HUGE for their defense...THAT IS WHY I said there will be opportunities to make plays but we will be in a stadium of 100K who will be extremely excited about their 1st home opener....

THE DEFENSE WILL BE KEY TO WINNING THIS GAME!

Haven't been able to find anything to suggest that Rak is done for the season, but he definitely won't play this week.

Multiple sources saying Carriker is done though.

Both secondaries and pass rushing will be questionable in this game...The big advantage??? a 100K screaming fans happy to see RG3! their defense has given up over 5ypc and so has ours.....They also need to control RG3's scrambling so he doesnt get hurt...lightning quick but thin...But our secondary may be so wide open that he may not have to run like that.....

Redskins’ Adam Carriker, Brian Orakpo both injured in St. Louis | ProFootballTalk

The Redskins also lost outside linebacker Brian Orakpo on Sunday to a pectoral injury. There’s no word on the severity of that injury, but he already had pectoral surgery once this year, and his comments afterward suggested that he could need surgery again.

“It just ripped on me, man,” Orakpo said. “Same injury as before. It’s just frustrating, man.”

I'll hold out hope for Rak. Hopefully it isn't that bad. That would suck if it is true though. To lose he and Carriker for the rest of the year would not be good. The Skins D isn't exactly playing lights out as it is.

Both Carriker and Orakpo announced out for season.....This makes the game a little more competitive....But still RG3 at home game 1 100K....This shit will NOT be easy....and I still have them winning...
