I've read it several times. I don't really care what SM negotiated. It's easy to say it was stupid now, but who was saying it was stupid NOT to sign him 3 years ago at any price? He had accomplished nothing other than riding the pine and being RG3s backup.

Who else would be so sensitive to the cause of the Redskins Front Office & constantly go out of their way to defend this guy (who appears to be a scumbag regardless of whether his personnel moves are good or bad).

I think he is saying a deal before the 2015 season. According to that article. Kc had no starting experience at that point in time. lol

That's what I was thinking too. If so (to put it in perspective) Mike Glennon has as equal or better winning percentage as KC had at that time (pre 2015), Mike Glennon just signed, what, a $15 million APY, months ago? Close to 3 years after the KC offer. If that is what the "market value" for an unproven, mediocre at best QB is today, I would say KCs value was more like $8-$10 million, 3 years ago. I haven't looked back at some of the QB contracts that were signed 3 years ago, around the same time this contract was "pulled", but I would be interest in comparing some of those QBs and their respective contracts and KC and his offer by SM.

dude when you say "skinsdad post any credible article on what i was saying about the contract " pretty much says "doubt " you had a question as to its validity . and as i have stated the offer was to avg 16-19 mil per year and it was shot down by allen . then SM was taken off the case

Kc did not want any part of this. So the 2016 off season came. Skins offered a low ball deal of 16M. KC said no an played on the tag. Now the 2017 off season is here then the skins offerd 20m and Kc said no. Then the tag was applied again but a LTD could still happen before 7/15/17..

the skins waited , and they saw and then had to tag him for 19 mil to wait and see and it cost them and now they are doing it again, wait and see . soon you will wait and see your ass to 30 mil plus when it could have taken 16 mil , then 19 mil and now 24 mil and soon to be even more .

you didn't read it right. SM and Allen went to KC on 12/15 to try to get LTD done and KC said no. That is exactly what your Peter King article said.
