failure? Im just saying what the 49ers should do. The only failure is you who still think a LTD will get done with KC.
you believe a trade is possible i believe it isnt and i believe it wont happen

No. I'm assuming a 1st round pick is offered. You are not reading my posts. Of course it all depends on what the Skins feel acceptable. If the 49ers offer a 1st and the Skins turn it down knowing that they cant get a LTD done then that is a huge issue.
But what if they called today and offered a 3rd. Would you do it?

The huge issue in this case is named Daniel Snyder.

You are right Dean, if its such a no brainer though... why havent the 49ers made the move already?? I mean aside from the fact that they could just wait and keep their draft pick, and that Kyle should just be all over himself to do Dan Snyder a solid at this point.

hy on earth havent the Niners called to offer that trade??

Maybe they have. How are we supposed to know?

Oh come on dude... if the Niners GM called to ask Bruce Allen what he thought of the New Transformers movie, it would be front page news this time of year. Much less if they called to ask about a trade for Cousins... some one would leak that news big time and we all know it.

The last I heard is that Dan doesn't want to trade him. This was before the draft. If you know you cant sign him to a LTD now and the 49ers have an offer out there for there 1st round pick. How do you not take it?

I must have missed it. How about a 2nd round offer?

They have 2 2nd rounders'. If offered both and I cant get a LTD done with KC before 7/17 I would say yes.

Ok. So we have established the minimum cost for your no brained deal that will be cheaper for SF.

So what is the value of 2 2nd round picks to SF?

1. The Niners dont have any kind of offer out there.

2. If you call the niners, you have to be prepared to get LESS than a first rounder.

3. If you deal Kirk now, or you cant sign him long term, you better have a plan more detailed than fuck it five QBs are supposed to go in the first round next year any way.

Im shocked the 49ers are not calling. If KC doesn't want to sign here what choice do the Redskins have? You are saying its no risk to the 49ers if KC hits Fa and I disagree. Once again who gives a shit about a mid first round pick when you can get your QB that your head coach wants. lol

If you traded for KC right now it would be cheaper and the 49ers would be a better team which could win 6-8 games this year. So that would equate to the #16-19 overall pick. So why wait and risk another team bidding for his services in FA? When you can lock him up cheaper and give up a mid first round pick? Kc is not worth a mid first round pick to you guys? Sure you can gamble but the risk outweighs the reward. If Kyle really want him to start his head coach career why should a mid first round pick matter? Or even a 10-15 pick. Why should it matter? You never know what team could jump in next year. You cant deny that its a risk by waiting.
The Niners are smart to wait b/c this is year 1 or 2 of a major rebuild and Kyle/Lynch are in year 1 of new 6 year contracts. There's no pressure to win this season, and the team lacks overall talent. That lack of team talent is why that 1st rd pick matters so much, be it #6 or #16. That means there's no incentive to sacrifice a 1st rd pick in 2018 just to finish around .500 at best in 2017.

The smarter move is to wait a year, stink in 2017, and then in 2018 the team uses its plethora of cap space to land Cousins AND a top 5-7 pick. Yes, there is risk SF loses KC by waiting, but that risk is hedged by the top draft pick itself. If for some reason, Cousins is franchised again or he signs with the Browns/Jets/Jags, the Niners can use that top pick to draft a blue chip QB and continue the rebuild. That's why the reward outweighs the risk.

How the hell am I supposed to answer that? If im the owner of the 49ers and I can get the Qb my new head coach wants then im calling the Redskins

Ok but you blew your chance at the opportunity to get the QB that your head coach wants. Sure you can do the rookie route but you don't know how that rookie will turn out. We are talking a mid first rounder here. Peanuts.

So now its a mid first rounder?? I thought you were of the opinion that with or without Cousins, the Niners were going to suck. But by adding Cousins they become a mid first round picking team?? And you are willing to give up your starting QB for LESS than a top ten draft pick because you dont want to spend the money?? Is that what we are supposed to believe??

how do you jump to "blowing it " ? there is no reason for the 49ers to trade at this time
