We just batted Mike Leake (with over 100 pitches) in the 7th with 2 men on, 2 men out and a 1 run game.

Not sure if I'm supposed to be impressed by Mike Leake's hitting, or depressed about our bench.

Yep. It was nice to see..... I was starting to think he was getting a little too 'hollywood' out there. He needs to stay pissed and fire up that fastball.

If Leake continues to pitch like he has his last three starts, I'm going to have to reassess my "human batting tee" position.

Leake's a young pitcher. It seems he has figured out how to overwhelm bad competition. If he can continue to improve and step up his game against the big boys, our rotation will be ridiculous.
