You think Dusty plays Frazier today? Rolen has 2 errors (one crucial..the other probably should've been scored a hit) and what, 2 hits (one of them a swinging bunt). They need a viable bat after Bruce. If I'm the Giants I seriously consider walking Bruce at this point to get to Rolen.

Are the Giants always this bad of a hitting team? Or are we just catching them at the right time? Why do I feel like they're getting ready for an 8 or 9 run game?

I'm not a Dusty hater, but why in the world would he run Broxton out there in the 10th after Chapman breezed through the 9th and the pitchers spot up first in the bottom? We easily could have gotten 3 more outs from Chapman, who hadn't pitched since game 1

I don't really have an issue with that...maybe he was just trying to keep him within his routine and save him for the last couple games (if needed). I do think he should've gone an inning or so longer with Bailey. I'm also a Frazier guy so I was not pleased with how last night ended...especially considering that Rolen gives you nothing offensively. he's like the Lavernious Coles of the Reds...a real 'professional' who doesnt produce.

I would have liked to see Frazier in the line up last night too, then if we lost, throw Rolen back in today. Seeing how Rolen doesn't really ever play day games after night games, we'll probably see Frazier today.

Still a mystery as to who is pitching, though.

I think Dusty has been playing these games with his mind toward the future.... He didn't want to burn Chapman up with 2 innings and he has the luxury of using Broxton. Broxton gave up two hits, but he did his job - We should have been out of that inning.

I'm nervous about today's game. I wish we'd just go with Leake and not wait on Cueto - I don't like a sick Latos pitching on four days rest.

Personally, I wouldnt throw Latos today. If you do, it's pretty much a must win. I almost think it's a must win anyway. I really don't like the thought of having to go against Cain in game 5. Especially not comfortable with Arroyo at GABP v. Cain. I think you throw Leake today and hope the bats come alive. But if there is a game 5 I think Latos is the guy you want pitching. On the other hand Arroyo seems to have a better disposition for a winner take all game. Tough call...

I have a feeling they'll go with Latos today and Bronson tomorrow. Neither pitcher will be in position to pitch their best stuff. Probably going to need a gutty performance. This team has been at it's best when faced with adversity - Let's see if the trend continues.

Probably right...and Zito is hittable. He has strung together some wins but his ERA during that stretch is not impressive.

Reports are that Leake will go today. Latos in 5 if necessary

That would be good news. I don't see any point in counting on Cueto - A strained oblique does not sound like good news for a pitcher.

It's Leake...ugh. We're gonna need to score some runs today.

The woman and I will be in attendance by the way....

I guess. GABP really isn't all that great of a stadium IMO. PNC in Pittsburgh puts it to shame.

I never understood it. They tried to make a big deal out of it when the stadium was built - It was supposed to be a 'unique' design feature. Instead it just looks like an oddity. I believe the reason they felt compelled to do it was because the stadium playing field points toward Kentucky and a completely closed stadium would have no views of Cincinnati. This, by the way, was unavoidable as MLB dictates the orientation of the field. Of course, if they just would have built along Broadway Commons, this wouldn't have been an issue.

I was really dissapointed in the design of GABP compared to the other new parks. I too, think PNC is a great park and more of what I was hoping for here. Also think PBS is a total POS. No personality. Things don't work correctly (escalators) and it already feels dated.
