Kramer is a huge fan of Heisey. I'm sure he'll be thrilled.
Heisey is not a good everyday player but he is a hell of a pinch hitter. Always makes me wonder why he can't carry it over into everyday playing.

Reminds me of Michael Tucker from the late 90's early 2000's I believe?
Was great off the bench or a pinch start...but give him the every day job for a week plus and he sucked.
No rhyme or reason, but just go with it. Keep Heisey on the Bench and let him do what he does best....be a bench player. Nothing wrong with that. Many a MLB player had a long career doing just that.
Indeed! But a win never the less,GO REDS!!!!!!!![]()

Repped, for the win......
I'm not sure Stubbs is ever going to hit. He just seems clueless at the plate. Sure do like Cozart though, so far......

Phipps will be up here one way or another. Either to play some LF if Ludwick and Heisey can't get it done, or to play some CF if Stubbs can't do it (though I don't know if Phipps can play CF, but he could play LF if Heisey moves over).
They also have that Lutz (?) kid who looked decent enough.
"Chapman is filthy! He should be starting."
Absolutely....they need to make that move now, before it's too late....
My only concern is that having him start would mean having to tone back his fastball some. He can't be throwing 100 mph for 9 innings. Also, going through the lineup a few times might give guys time to get the timing on him. I'll defer to some of you who follow baseball a little more than me, but he could be better out of the bullpen.
