I'm looking at this year's MLB attendance on E!SPN's website. funny how they have this information on their own website, but don't make decisions based on it.

Current 2013 MLB Attendance

Yankees 3rd, Red Sox 9th (where'd RSN go after 2007?), Mets 21st

Interesting. Why do the Mets get more coverage than about 18 of the 20 other franchises above them in attendance? Why do the Red Sox get more coverage than 7 of the 8 teams above them in attendance?

Red Sox games get higher ratings than all but four or five other franchises. You want ESPN to show your team, tell your team's fans to turn on the TV when they're televised.

Here comes ther % play. Fenway is tiny look at the % we kill the yankees. Its not our fault their stadium holds 1,000,000 people. Plus look at the size of NY compared to Bos...they suck, Bos rules

You can't sell seats that don't exist....

Actually, the Marlins have done well with tv viewership in the past. I'm trying to find a list of the current MLB rankings but have not been successful. I'm sure none of you would help if you saw anything there that supported my argument, but I'll keep searching.

Regardless of the marlins, I'm pretty sure that the Yankees, Red Sox, and Mets don't hold the top 3 spots in viewership over all of the other 27 teams.

For Michael Young it appears to be Red Sox or Phillies...Period...Red Sox would be my guess when the clock turns 1

Not interested....he's a butcher at 3rd...and hits like an aging shortstop...

I bet they're up there. Physical attendance at the ballpark doesn't matter. It's ratings - how many people turn on the TV and tune in when a game is broadcast nationally. I'll venture to guess that regular season Yankees - Sox games get better ratings than any other regular season match up in baseball including Cards - Cubs.

LOL @ Jack Nicholson wearing a Yankee's hat last night. Where's the outcry from the Dodgers fans???

He probably also roots for the Red Wings and Steelers.

Fox just tied their best rated national game of the year a couple weeks ago...

Sox/Yankees...did a 2.5 nationally...

Braves phillies did a 1.9

it is what it is....

he was already called up....at least I heard it last night they did....he's still not on the 25 man, so they may be waiting to see if Philly is willing to dump young for a bag of balls...

Thought they were recalling both...with a pitcher, possible britton or workman, going down...

They need holt for a 2nd SS....WMB to start at 3rd....that's what it sounded like last night at least...

Workman, Britton, Beato or De La Torre...one is going down...or they are carrying 13 pitchers...which is doubtful.
