yes walks help OBP but walks ain't driving anyone in either. adam lind is walking at a alarming rate but he ain't scoring a ton of runs. all i am saying is walks aren't everything and yes they help but they aren't tell all be all in baseball. you can have a bunch of dudes that walk but if there's nobody to drive em in then what do you have.

JPA has 13 RBI and 11 Runs... in 99 ABs

Home Runs give credit to the run and RBI stat.

So since JPA has hit 5 more Home Runs. JPA has contributed to 16 Runs

Cerveli? 17...in nearly half the PAs... Runs and RBIs in essence a team stat, but i'm just using it to illustrate the point of the importance of getting on base. Not only does JPA not walk...he hits a for a low average too..
