There's only 32 teams in the NFL. The talent pools are highly concentrated. In D1 you've got players spread out over 119 schools. You're not going to find a bunch of Victor Cruz's every single year.

I see 4 overall (not just conference). How we can get there depends. We just totally self-destruct and get a shit bowl we can win or do the same as last year and have enough to get a decent bowl and jsut don't show up.

If we finish with 3 and a bowl win I will be ecstatic.

I have NO reason to believe our defense will get better- I in fact think it will be Pelinis worst defense EVER- as in even when he was just a lb coach.....

And I don't have any reason to believe our offense can hang 40 or more points on the board more than 6 times.......


I honestly fear that we are going to allow a avg of 30 or so points a game...

A BAD season is highly unlikely. Should be 9-10 wins... Clean up the mental mistakes/dumb penalties, find a way to get more turnovers (Looking at you secondary), quit fumbling the fucking ball and you're actually probably looking at a B1G title and a BCS bid.

Phil Steele's simulation sets have nebraska winning 10+ games something like 9 out of 12 times.

Idc what you say, Steele is the man. Very reliable.

I think I could honestly deal with the 7-6 better than 30+ point losses.

I'll say I fucking love coach Bo........ I'd give anything to play for the guy... but I'm just not sure that his staff is up to the job or that he is up to being a head coach- those two really go hand in hand..... I like his game management, I love his attitude- but I'm just not sure he gets the team ready week in and week out, or that he ever has a complete game plan..

His defensive game plan is usually pretty good.. but sometimes the offensive one is - people say, "well, he is a defensive coach" ye either know football or ye don't, I know Bo knows football- so why our offensive game plan is sooooooooooo far off sometimes has me scratchin me head.
