Across The Field
Oaky Afterbirth
I think that was the record I predicted for them at the beginning of the year. Losing as much star power from 2017 as they did, a drop was bound to come. McSorely came back down to earth, as I was figuring, but I would've thought they'd still have Miles Sanders around for next season to help soften the blow. Still not sure I agree with him going, he could've been a potential first rounder in 2020.9-4 was majorly disappointing for Penn State this year considering they were #10/9 preseason and expected to compete for the B1G title this season. Lost to Ohio State (blown lead again) and got wrecked by Michigan.
Things are likely to get worse before they get better next season. No McSorely/Sanders, Solid blows to the OL/DL with the early entrants. Best secondary member is gone. They did have some quality young contributes this past season but I dont think overall it's there to compete for the B1G title.
