Keep those WR's and Safety's dropping
Yeah. This draft has been a dream come true so far for Howie. He doesn't have to work to hard yet. Is Brown still available?

The centers went.

Thornhill please. Adderley, Rapp, Hooker, Chauncey there too. Will get one if we want one.

WRs, please AJ over Metcalf. Butler or Harmon would be solid too.

Maybe DE, Winovich or LB ,Wilson?

Love Sanders ... the Eagles had shown a ton of interest in him. I actually thought there was a chance Sanders would be the first Back off the board. Dude will be a 3 down Back.

Really gives us a strong backfield.

A 2018 weakness into a 2019 strength.

I am happy with this pick. Now we just need Doug to call some running plays!

I think I hate that pick given who was available.

after their next pick, we won't see them until the 4th. i recall everyone wanting them to get a RB, what's the head scratch?

Just thought other positions were higher priority

It's all good - nothing against Sanders - like him as a RB and I always like to see PSU players getting drafted

I didn't have three straight offensive players, that is for sure. I would have taken a safety with one of these two second rounders. But hey, if they really think these two are starting RB and WR prospects, I guess I get it.

Yeah, I mean we have some good talent around Wentz now, but I would have taken a safety and defensive lineman.

People may bust on the Whiteside pick because they simply don't know much about him, but this kid has insane body control, size and ability to catch contested balls (highest contested catch success percentage this past season) ... then he ran in the mid 4.4's at his Pro Day. His footwork when jammed is also really good ... he sets up defenders incredibly well. He will be a terror in the Red Zone and Wentz prefers throwing to bigger targets. I'm personally stoked at our Offense significantly improving in this draft.

nah, all i keep hearing is how he's a red zone target and we sucked there last year. Was Alshon, Dallas, and Ertz not enough tall targets for our QBs to hit? Hell, they even added Matthews by the end of the year. I don't think the offense was lacking tall targets.

well, they do say he's a good blocker, so that'll help.

While Ertz and Goedert are good receiving options at TE, they aren't WR's ... they are middle of the field guys. JJ's an outside guy who can give you Jordy Nelson type skills. I think we will see DJax a lot more in the slot this year with Alshon and JJ on the outside (although he can also play inside with his skill set). Not sure where Agholor fits in now.

RB1 Howard
RB2 Sanders
RB3 Clement/Smallwood

WR1 Jeffery
WR2 Desean
WR3 Agholor
WR4 JJ
WR5 Hollins

TE1 Ertz
TE2 Goedert

That's eight (8) 1st or 2nd round picks in there.

Damn. No 3rd round pick and safety From Florida still on board. Wish we could make a trade to grab him.
