He needs to be paid like a #1 running back I guess? After over 200 yards in the championship game I say trade his ass

RB Raheem Mostert requests trade from 49ers

According to Rapoport, Tessler said Mostert's request is to simply be in line with the highest-paid running back on the team, which is Tevin Coleman, who is set to make $4.55 million in 2020. Mostert has two years left on his current deal and is due $2.57 million in base salary this season and $2.87 million in 2021, per OverTheCap

I don't think that is unreasonable. Mostert was the best RB on the team, no question. Lets see if the niners front office screws the pooch on this one.

sure a 5 good game for a journeyman RB screams more than 5M over the next 2 years. Elliott is all his line play but not this guy. :L

Yes, it is outrageous to ask for as much money as Tevin Coleman. The career backup.

I said it wasn't unreasonable. Sounds like you have it all figured out.

colemans 4 years looks better and worth less than 2M more than Mosterts 4 years.
Matters to me...I'm sure this will go over well in the SF RB room
Colemans 4 years were in spot duty, when he got the chance to start for ATL he fell flat, when he got the chance for SF, he fell flat.

LOL....you're right 167 for 800 and a 4.8 average is a dime a dozen in this league

I guess the ball is in SF's court

And the 49ers can tell him to STFU or go to work at Burger King for the next couple of years.

I am on Mosterts side.
He is now the niners starting RB. 4.5 mil for a starter isnt bad.

Of course being under contract gives the niners all the leverage, but do they care?

14 starts in 18 for a 4.8 average says he didn't exactly "fall flat". I saw an injury season for Coleman last year.
BUT...BUT the point is Mostert demanding a trade if he doesn't get Coleman money is fucked up after what he's done in his 4 years

Shanahan always have a good back, it’s not the player, it’s the system
