You see, that argument would make sense, if Ray denied it and the nfl had no video, but ray did admit to hitting her, so why did the nfl need video proof?

The only legit reason that the nfl should get a pass for taking this long, is if ray lied to them.

Yeah he "admitted it" but he didn't say how bad it was. The video proved how bad it actually was. Dude had NO remorse for knocking her out! He is lucky he didn't kill her! Than he just calmly DRAGS her out of the elevator!

He didn't. He admitted that what he did was wrong and that he accepted responsibility for it. He never stated what that was specifically and certainly did not give any details. What is on that tape is absolutely disgusting and does not jive with how the NJ police handled things that evening.

First of all there are very few excuses for hitting a women, but not knowing if alcohol was involved I can almost see if she was hitting him and he made the life changingly bad, angry, in the moment decision to hit her back. But then he drags her out and simply drops her on her face, completely showing how much of a scumbag he is and how slowly he thinks on his feet, at least say she drag too much and carry her out of there.

The press conference and his original statement was intentionally vague to leave open exactly that sort of possibility.

There's a bunch of other guys who he didn't punish enough or didn't punish at all? Brandon Marshall and Dez Bryant come to mind. If he's gonna do this to Ray Rice, it would only seem fair for him to revisit the punishment of other guys.

Marshall's wife actually STABBED him. I think what he did could be considered self defense. She could have borderline been in jail for attempted murder.

You're being very selective because that was one incident of many. All of the other ones had Marshall as the alleged aggressor. One of the cases was resolved with Marshall completing a diversion program just like Ray Rice.
