I heard in an interview with Choice that he grew up playing catcher, and didnt step into outfield until college. Thought that was interesting

That is interesting because I've been wondering where al these guys fit into the future. There's not enough spots open with Fielder at 1st and 4 contributing OFers, plus MM. I would assume Rios is gone. It's a good problem to have and I would guess MM is traded eventually.

Ya know, everyone seems to have forgotten about Engel Beltre.

I'm hoping this injury does to him what Martin Perez's did for him, as far as the mental approach to the game.

But he still impresses me as a million dollar talent with a head full of cotton candy.

I've said all along that we are exercising Rios' option. We might pick him up with the sole intention of trading him during winter meetings, or we could keep a very serviceable OF for 13 mill. But, that option will be picked up.

I've lived in 3 cities with MLB franchises in my life - KC, ST Lou, Dallas - and I assure you this overall, television broadcasting is by far the worst. And it doesn't matter which network.

It sucks from the pre-game, to in game, to post game.

Honestly, the franchise should be ashamed of this. If the team was as poor as the broadcast, we'd be Houston.

Not true IMO. The jury is still out. Besides, we've got him for cheap for another 2 years.

I'm not sure. But as memory serves, I think you're on to something I forgot.

He had to be on the big squad or released it seems.
