Wow, Soto traded to a rival for just cash. So much for him being Darvish's personal catcher. Think this and the trade of Gimenez shows they have committed to Chirinos. I think he has earned it though.

Ah yes, I forgot soto was on a one year deal. We can always re-sign him. Plus Chirinos been solid. Never mind, carry on.

Catching was one problem this team did not have...figured Chirinos and Soto could hold down the fort through 2015 until Alfaro is ready in 2016. And Soto was Yu's personal catcher...so next year???...unless, JD thought that Soto would not re-sign with us next year...I guess that could be a possibility.
