I don't think there's a guarantee that Martin stays. He would be much cheaper though. Maybe it would save us enough money to go after Max.

Martin's defense in CF is reason enough to keep him, he provides enough offense to make him a worthy starter

I also don't see Rios here next year, I don't even see the point in picking up his option, I think it makes him pretty untradeable

Considering the cost of good players now I don't see a one year option at that amount as unreadable at all.
