If Lebron James can be welcomed back in Cleveland after people burned his jerseys, I don't see why Hamilton wouldn't be welcomed back in Arlington if it came to that. I won't like him the way I used to, but seriously I am wanting a swap for he and Choo so badly....I want out of that contract.

I don't remember Lebron publicly question Cleveland's fan base. But the main thing to consider is Josh probably has very little if anything left. I just think he's used goods and that's not even including his monkey brain. Lebron is at the top of his game and prime still.

Oh and let's just add that he's still a druggie that recently relapsed yet again. Again I just don't see how anyone can make a sane comparison between the two situations.

I'm a JD backer but is it time to wonder what the hell JD is doing out there?

Fuck...Evan Grant is saying no Choo for Hamilton...There is no fucking point unless Choo is dealt...seriously Texas doesn't need another LF hitter that is suspect at defense.

I still think Choo could turn it around, but with that contract I'd rather not risk it.
I don't care if Choo turns into a 10 win player...I am sick of seeing his face...

If Choo is not involved then I don't see the point at all. I'm going to be even more mad if it's a bunch of prospects. I'd hate for Fielder to be on the Angels too. Could EA be involved?

Grant is suggesting the Rangers would be paying pennies on the dollar for Hamilton. Take Choo....

If this is just about getting Hamilton for "pennies on the dollar", then we better just be sending back one fucking scrub of a prospect.

I did kind of question why the Angels would want to take on Choo's contract, but Dipoto does dumb shit.

Because they want rid of Hamilton. That's gotta be worth picking up Choo.

Getting a vision of Hamilton hat in hand at microphone at home plate addressing the Texas fans ... a la Lou Gehrig or General MacArthur

Josh Hamilton -- "I Have Returned"

If we're not unloading long term dollars, I'm not sure I see the point. I'm anxiously awaiting the details of this deal.
