No, it was Buzz who made that reply. I think it caught the radio guys off guard.

It's catching me off guard and I'm just now reading about it.

Maybe he meant, "the reality of our pitching is, the young guys probably shouldn't be counted on for the long haul, so don't fall in love too much. They will have to be cycled through the minors again."

Lord, I'm not trying to defend Buzz if this is what it sounds like. This guys spouts crap I can't even comprehend each and every game.

Said it before, our announcing is the worst I've ever listened too, and it's not even close.

He wasn't overly demonstrative towards the home plate ump in that last AB but he obviously said something on his way by that was just too much

Sardinas made some nice plays in his stead and drove in the winning run, so no harm no foul in the end, but Andrus has this tendency to get ejected too often, I can't say much as I didn't watch much of the early innings or pay close attention

Probably so. Besides, it'll be good to see Sardinas/Odor working together. But EA didn't help himself with the semi early exit last night, that's for sure.

Yeah, you guys are right, and I really didn't make my point clear; which is, overall since 1980 our announcing has been very poor, from a televised standpoint. It's not just Buzz & Tom, it's overall been awful IMO.

I wasn't a Lewin fan. But now I long for him. The classic, "be careful what you ask for, you just may get it" kind of scenarios.
