Even with the home run I wouldn’t mind him not being on the Rangers next year. That’s twice in the last week he was off the bag.

He has a 1.024 OPS over his last 15 games.
Give the guy a break. He’s playing pretty well.

Eh, possibly. Still has 4 years of team control left after this year though. Just because we didn’t draft him or trade for him while he was a minor leaguer doesn’t mean he’s not part of the future.

If Any of our prospects (Jung, Smith, Crim, Foscue) came up and hit .264/.357/.414/.771 with 18 Hrs 24 doubles and 72 RBI in their first full pro year everyone would love him, then everyone would be patient with him this year since hitting is down across the board, not to mention he’s technically been our best offensive player according to his batting avg and wRC+.

IMO, Lowe is part of our future and a good player who could become great.
Now if another team offers us a good return I’m all for it, considering we have plenty of COF/CIF/DH types waiting, (Huff, Crim, Foscue)

Didn’t strike out much, but had a hard time hitting home runs, only hit 1 ever. Happened to be in the best game of pitching I ever had too. Irony.
