No More "Bullpen Failure"
What do you expect Montgomery to get in free agency? 5 years and $95-100 million?Monty is priority #1 in the off-season.
Get him signed then load up on bullpen help.

Right around that, yes. He's too good to let walk especially with the injury concerns with deGrom, Scherzer, Eovaldi and Gray. What do you expect him to get in free agency? 5 years and $95-100 million?
Now you're talking.Right around that, yes. He's too good to let walk especially with the injury concerns with deGrom, Scherzer, Eovaldi and Gray.
Money will be tight so they're going to have to make use of the trade market to fix the bullpen as well as utilizing whatever remains to spend in free agency. I'm liking the idea of shopping Lowe and Taveras in particular for bullpen help. Langford takes LF moving Carter to CF, and Foscue or Crim takes 1B.
Okay, how will this second game go?Okay, how will this second game go?
Total hits by Rangers?
Total runs by Rangers?
Total innings pitched by Eovaldi?
Total runs given up by Eovaldi?
Total runs given up?
The only thing that changes from game to game is the pitchers names. The game keys never change
1) Eovaldi's command of his fastball
2) The Rangers hitters being able to lay off of Eflin's below the zone curveball
3) Bochy's management of the bullpen
Me neither. But Bochy has favored Grossman all seasonI just don't get Grossman over Garver.
