I used to say JD needed to do things to keep Wash from making stupid mistakes with players. He needed to Wash-proof the team. CY needs to Bochy-proof the team and get rid of Knizner and Grossman.

Let’s face it Bochy has done a bad job this year. Team does not look inspired. He seems to be having a W.S. hangover as well.
I noticed half of his career as a mgr is littered with losing seasons.
He has never followed up with a better season after winning a W.S.
He is a great playoff mgr and I really appreciate him getting our first championship.
Just don’t like how he has handled some players or why some were brought back with the team. Like you said his personal beef with Huff and not getting rid of Tavares after the season when his value was decent.
Then you add in Grossman which was a head scratcher and wasting time with Knidzer.
