Having already given up 2 runs in the first inning, Leiter gets 2 quick outs in the second inning only to walk the next three batters. He threw a grand total of one strike to the three batters. He was removed.

Brooks Lee, the SS some had mocked to the Rangers before the draft in July, is playing against Frisco tonight. He did very well at A ball so they allowed him to come up and get a cup of coffee at AA during the postseason. He is 3 for his first 8 at AA. I guess that is one of the perks in taking a college hitter. Rocker didn't throw a pitch and Lee has already conquered A ball in about 2 months.

I hope he works on his conditioning in the offseason. He is pitching like he is gassed. Nolan could do the boy wonders, I think.
