None of us knows everything the FO knows. Therefore, none of us know if any decision they make is right. If we are too ignorant to know when they are wrong, then we are too ignorant to know if they are right. If!

I mean maybe the Rangers were right about Odor, Kirkman, Howard, King, Fielder and a few others.

Maybe they were right to ignore the shortcomings of the bullpen in the offseasons. I mean maybe it was best that we lost several games in the late innings, so far this year, because of our bullpen. We just cannot see the big picture. Lol

And maybe they were wrong not to sign Rendon!

Texas Rangers 2020-2021 Offseason Thread

When Heim arrived, he was our 3rd ranked C prospect, behind Huff and David Garcia (who just got promoted to AA this season).

Well, I never said they should be up here now. I simply gave a what if post about what could have happened, knowing it was way past that possibility.

Perhaps some of my reaction is to others even on other boards who ar drooling f to bring up Carter. I am I no hurry. Injury may change things but IMO best to let him marinate

I am leery of giving up too much going all I. This year. A lot of false hype due to teams conjecturing when they are really or out of the race. Like to get a relieve or 2 but not ready to send Carter out in a trade just yet. Not Leiter yet either. He has issues but he missed bats. Needs some tutoring IMO

Btw Garcia has a very quick release. He is already better defensively than Garver if that means anything

A guy named West Jones on nolanwritin has the Rangers doing 3 trades:

1. Brent Suter from Rockies for 1or 2 low level prospects.

2. Blake Snell & Juan Soto from Padres(someone already mentioned Padres nor ready to trade) for Gutierrez, Leiter, Hatcher & Kendreich

3. Kendall Graveman from CWS for Foscue & Ornelas

IIRC they were gonna trade him and then just signed him.

They lowballed him and when he balked they cried trade. It was a ploy by FO in their negotiations. They had no real intention to trade.m
Same here they say they are open but their quotes are ridiculous so in reality they have not intention to trade
