getting both those those guys would be solid replacements for the departures of Cruz and Murphy assuming we dont resign either. Would have to think either Gentry or Engel Beltre would be heading back their way with a Odor or Sardinas and a couple pitching specs.

I think its assumed that either both players would come in a package or it would just be Rios....its pretty common knowledge that we need a RH bat so it wouldnt make sense to report interest in De Aza if it was just for him alone....it seems like the intent of this trade might not just be trying to improve this year but adding for next year too, very smart move for JD if he can get it done.

At this rate he is not headed to that total this year but I believe playing here could help change that.
