I noticed that Rougned Odor did not play last night for Myrtle Beach. Not trying to start any rumors but you never know. He has a 16 game hitting streak. Is Gallo on the DL?

Gallo is on the DL with a groin injury

And I'd rather trade Sardinas than Odor

Reading that a source said the Cubs got some good prospects but no slam dunk like Profar. That is very true.

Profar has so far demonstrated he is no "slam dunk." To me slam dunk = Trout.

If you are waiting for Profar to turn into Trout, you will always be disappointed. Profar will get some pop I think, but not Trout pop. Profar is a slam dunk if he is a middle infielder. Anything on the corners and he is just a good young guy we have for cheap.

You know how long it took Zobrist to get to where he is now? he was 28 before he had what you would call a good/solid season and was never a highly thought of prospect

good call, I'm about the same... solid player who is good for about 15 HR's and 70 RBI's.

You know how long it took Zobrist to get to where he is now? he was 28 before he had what you would call a good/solid season and was never a highly thought of prospect

I think he could get there before that

Not to mention that when Trout was initially called up - he could barely hit his weight.

I would have to agree. Odor is having a great year. Would like to see how he does at AA.

I don't care if he becomes Trout like or not. But we already have two elite defensive MIF. Elvis career offensively obviously better than this year also.

I know lots want to move Kinsler to COF, but look at his numbers this year, his power numbers likely make him not much more than another guy, except one who gets paid $15 mil a year to be just another guy.
