And we thought we had a good deal with Yu.

I would love to have Sale the way he has pitched this year. Yeah I know he's an arm injury waiting to happen but I would take a chance as long as he didnt cost us Gallo or Alfaro. I could part with LuJack and Thompson and a few other pieces possibly

Let's just win tomorrow and keep the winning going. That's all that matters right now. Taking 5 of 7 against Kershaw, Greinke, Sale, and to a lesser extent Rodon is nothing to sneer at. Remember, this team is just trying to tread water until reinforcements arrive.

It's mostly offense, but we are without three starters in our lineup, so there may be light at the end of the tunnel. I still think Nick is due some very ugly starts. Hard to see Wandy continuing his current form for the entire season as well.

Some scheduling tomfoolery: the Rangers play as many day games in the next 7 games as they do in ALL of July. It was well-noted that their schedule was pretty brutal pre-ASG. July looks to give them a bit of a break with it.

You've been predicting his downfall for about 10 starts now, and while he's had a couple stinkers in there, he's been pretty consistent, he's a #4/5 no more no less

I know I will get my head chopped off but I would trade Alfaro and some other minor pieces for Sale. To me that is a no brainer. I know there is always the chance Sale could blow his arm out but things can happen to Alfaro too. And there are very few Pudge Rodriguez's out there so a catcher and a few other pieces that would could afford to let go because of position log jams for a TORP then I am in.
