My roommate drinks it, he seems to like it

It's actually really good, I had some reservations but I have to say it really surprised me

Couple decisions might need to be made, Chirinos and Corporan are useless against RHPs, Corporan even more so, Telis is at least competent against RHPs in AAA, something to consider

I think Telis should have been up 2 weeks ago

As I answered to jta little while ago, I think the team may be thinking, "our pitching staff is WAY OVERACHIEVING. Why would we change this for now?"

Because I don't think the way Telis would call a game or the way he receives would have an adverse affect on they way our pitchers throw the ball. I still think our guys take the ball every fifth day and continue to do well.

We need some spark offensively and Tomas just might bring that

I certainly appreciate what Tomas can "potentially" do for us offensively.

But I do think pitchers prefer pitching to certain catchers (see Darvish and Chirinos). Wandy is pitching about as well, if not better, than he's pitched in his entire life, and I believe every one of his starts has been with Corp receiving.

If management didn't think calling Tomas up could "potentially" disrupt our staff, don't you think they would have called him up already? After all, they know he's hitting well too.

I like seeing Rua's name hitting second, but I don't exactly think he's going to tear it up for right now. He wasn't killing it in his rehab assignment.

Agree 100%....Do we have anything to lose if he doesn't play flawless ball?

Shoot, let's see what the kid can do. For me, I'm very pleased with what I've seen to date.

And Happy Father's Day there Mr DT. Every man on here actually.:suds:

Ideally, I wish we could have kept in the minors for a little while longer. But Lord, we sure needed a right handed bat in the worst kind of way.

But ya know, I'd just as soon see how Rua does in the 2 hole for a few games than see Elvis there.

Im just not sure they can send Corp down and wouldn't have to DFA him, and they aren't going to do that at this point. They sure aren't going to have 3 catchers on the team

Honestly, hadn't even thought about this. But I think you're right. And we certainly aren't going to do anything with Robinson at this point.

I am glad to see EA behind on the bench, I hope its there for multiple games. I hope Hanser performs great, so there is no reason to get Elvis back in there anytime soon

He would have to be DFA'd, and minus catching Wandy he doesn't really do anything that's not replaceable and even thats pretty thin

They aren't going to plant 15 million on the bench for an extended period of time

It may take him a while to get acclimated again, but he's proven he can hit at every level and I am glad they are willing to let him take his swings with the big club for now. If he's totally falling on his face still in 3 weeks, they may have to make another move, but others should be back by then

Is Tomas considered an average receiver/game caller, etc?

And "what if" Wandy crashed and burned right now? Who takes his rotation spot today? A week from now?

2-3 games isn't exactly an extended period. They are off Monday, but I wouldn't mind seeing Hanser at SS today and Tuesday and Wednesday. I think the message needs to be sent loud and clear. Not that I think it changes anything

I wish we still had the agree, disagree icon instead of like or dislike. To me it reflects more of what I'm expressing.

Perhaps I'm nit-picking. Certainly nothing to be concerned about.
