I guess he's just slumping a bit. I think he lost his approach a bit when he got white hot there for a couple weeks. Surely that hitter is still in there somewhere.

He's still doing ok, it just seems he's a bit off on some pitches he used to hammer. Just not hitting mistakes like he has

Exactly. Remember when we were just praying for .500 baseball this month because of all the injuries? Well right now, we're 11-6.

I know people will say it's only June and proceed to rip my head off, but I perceive the period from now until the all star break to be very critical to the outlook of the team for the rest of the season. If the Rangers can keep it close until reinforcements arrive the race might get very interesting. Keep in mind, the Rangers play the Astros 12 games head to head in the second half of the season. I assume Beltre, DDS, and Hamilton will be back by July 15th, their injuries weren't major. Just need the Astros to not go on a big hot streak and we should be ok.
