Get him in Ian.
It's hard to explain how great the pitching is and how terrible the offense is.
I know look at the local radar.Where did that rain come from?
Good analysis I agree. Although that last fly out by Desmond shows a bit of an adjustment. Hopefully good news. We're hitting WAY too many weak ground-outs and pop-outs lately. Strikeouts haven't been a big problem, but we're not barreling up on the ball. That indicates that we're hitting a lot out on our front foot. They're not sitting back and loading up on the ball. Elvis is making pretty solid contact, but everyone else is very hit-and-miss (no pun intended).
Why don't they just put Nadal in the booth. ?In other news, how does Dave Raymond have a job? I'm seriously asking. How has the Rangers management and Fox Sports allowed his incompetence to continue? I know for a fact that multiple people have called in to complain about him being so awful. It's not just the board here that hates him either. Facebook, ESPN, and LSB are all filled with comments about how awful Raymond is. It's literally the one thing that ALL Rangers fans agree on. There hasn't been one single comment defending him. When they fired Lewin for being "too pop culture", there were differing opinions on him. Not this time. Every last fan hates listening to him and the complaints are all identical- "boring, put-me-to-sleep, ignorant of the game".
The Rangers HAVE to know how awful he is. If they cared so much about getting rid of Lewin, why not care now? It's embarrassing how awful he is.
Yes, I have watched the game. I've also watched the last 3-4 as well, including one in person. They aren't hitting it hard. One or two a game isn't going to cut it. Tonight Beltran hit a few line drive outs, there was the one off the pitcher's ankle, and the 2 HR. And tonight has been better than the Oakland series. There have been a lot of weakly hit balls lately.I am not sure if you all have been watching the entire game but we hit the ball hard off Chacin just right at people. Even tried to break his ankle and got a fielders choice out of it. And this from a guy who has no problem complaining about our offense.
