Relax folks……Astros are the only real competition and they lost to the dodgers the last 2 games. Our offense has just been pitiful in New York, but with the exception of a very memorable playoff series in 2010, when have we ever done well or succeeded in new York?

Do you think Dunning's improvement is more because of natural progression or the coaching of Maddux?

They have had enough games to keep that avg but they’ve had more, like yesterday, where they poorly performed. 12-9 record for the month with 2 1-0 losses and counting those 2 8 games where they scored 3 or less. And take away the 3 games where they scored 39 their avg for the other 18 is 3.6

Glenn Otto pitched well again, missing 11 bats on 54 pitches. The slider was particularly vexing: nine swings, five misses, four fouls, nothing in play. As I mentioned when I saw him in person in his previous start, he looked as ready as ever. Texas just needs to figure out what to do with him. For the meantime, that might be what he's doing now.

I get in-game frustrations and comments when guys aren’t performing during games based on bad at bats and so forth. That’s just commentary but to complain just to complain

Some on here just come on here and gripe and complain even before a game has even started. Basically calling a game or series a loss based on the teams trend or a pitching matchup.

Let them play the games before you start bitching at least. Nobody would have called this successful of a season up to this point before the season started. Just enjoy being a fan and be glad they won’t lose 90-100 games this season.

I’ll start the game time bitching however. I hat that approach by Lowe. Too many times he goes to the plate and takes two strikes over the plate and the swings at something out of the zone. That’s not a recipe for success. That’s just bad baseball

Yup but I had complained enough…lol

It was however a terrible take after he had fouled off a couple and then stands and watches a 3rd strike down the middle. If my 13 year old or any of my Junior High kids for that matter did that, I would lose my marbles. You gotta swing to give yourself a chance there. A take is like giving in….
