No More "Bullpen Failure"
I literally laughed out loud when I read Scott Lucas' report just now that led off with the news that Luke Jackson is being brought up. I guess the front office liked his numbers as a reliever as well.
He's posted on social media how much it pisses him off to not be "out there helping his teammates."
personally, I think he rushed to get back at the start of the year and it backfired.

They weren't using Claudio against LHHs anyway, might as well I guess

Well, Jackson can't do worse than Klein.

71 K's in 60IP, w 3 HR's and 30 walks. May fair well out of the pen in situations, though a whip of 1.38 seems a bit high.
That's hitting the nail-on-the-head there.
Good observation.
I don't question Banister's bullpen usage much, but my main gripe is continuously using Freeman as a LOOGY when the numbers, this year and last, indicate he does not pitch well against LHHs
Last night is an example of where Claudio should've been used at least for the initial LHH
If Claudio fails, then you can put that on Claudio b/c he was put into a situation to succeed at something he's good at and specializes in, at that point it's not on Banister
Instead we get Freeman, who's not good against LHHs, walking the leadoff batter, that's on Banister
It's all moot now, since we won anyway, but still open to discussion
Kinsler with the WO HR and now he's hitting .296 with a .356 OBP.
Took our semi-focus off Feliz.
saddles posted earlier that his ERA has been 3.11 and his WHIP is 1.17 as a reliever
Better than the 4.05 and 1.38 combined numbers
I read that Claudio has been the long man and that is why we haven't seen him used yet.
Which confuses me, because I thought Bass was that.
