I wish I could agree 100%.
Let’s see how these guys do against the A’s at home and at Fenway before saying they’re good.
Didn't say good, said solid

Yes it is and frustrating as well.At least Ranger baseball is fun again.
CertainIt has been good the last month or so for the most part.
Earlier I was thinking to myself that I wish we were playing the Yankees now while many of their offensive weapons are out but they actually started playing good ball anyway so I guess it doesn't matter. This has been such a crazy schedule. We are done with the Royals for the year while we still haven't played several teams even once.
Hopefully he Carrie's on with this his next gameAll around good game. Sampson was the standout today.
2019 MLB Mock Draft from Baseball America has Rangers going prep bat
Baty is their pick.
There is a theory that the Rangers will take a lesser player at #8, like Baty, so they can spend more on their next pick. That seems convoluted to me.
Sometimes more losses is a good thing.Frustrating.....
If we just lost 2 more games last year, we would be picking 6th and would get one of the good bats in the draft.
Rangers aren’t assured of getting one at 8 tho.
The reason I used that term is because all we have to go on now is the rankings of the so-called experts. If they, as a group, have a player ranked a few spots below another player then to me it is natural to think of that lower ranked guy as a lesser player.I don't know that its lesser players per say, since the draft is such a crap shoot anyway, but Its been a pretty successful strategy for some teams
That's what the Astros did with Correa, save money at the top of the draft where the talent is pretty even and disperse it later in the draft to flip guys from their college commitments in the later rounds
**Just saw this and I haven't been on my laptop so the Dillon Tate conversation was still on the screen**
