Joey Gallo heads to IL with strained oblique

The Rangers placed outfielder Joey Gallo on the 10-day injured list with a strained left oblique muscle on Sunday. The club offered no timetable for his return, but the strain is on the back side for a left-handed hitter.

That is considered less serious than an injury to the front side. Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, who is a right-handed hitter, has been sidelined since April 21 with a strained left oblique muscle on his front side. The Rangers are hoping Gallo won’t be out that long.

You still haven't shown how diving for a ball in lf versus cf makes you less likely to get hurt, if it was a leg thing I'd be inclined to agree but it's not

Honestly if they could score another Minor and Lynn type pitcher they'd be pretty solid, Shelby Miller is that kind of guy but his TJ comeback is hitting some snags
