No More "Bullpen Failure"
Neither team seems to want to win this game.
Or not. LolIt is time for Seager to hit a HR.
I am really looking forward to him playing with a year of experience under his belt next year. If we can keep him, Jung, and Carter healthy all year that would be fantastic.Langford can really adjust to a pitch in mid flight. Great job of hitting there.
From Zach Bigley:From The Frisco Roughriders:
Kumar Rocker's final line:
4.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 K
*his ERA now sits at 0.47 (1 ER in 19.2 IP)
From Tepid:Leiter gives up a solo HR in the 6th. After allowing a double he would have been out of the inning but SS Jax Biggers had a throwing error with 2 out to keep the inning alive. Leiter was taken out after that so he ends up with 5.2 innings with 1 earned run allowed on 4 hits, 1 walk, and 9 strikeouts.
From Zach Bigley:
5 AA GS: 19.2 IP, 9 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 29 K
He sat 97-99, touching 100 multiple times. That’s not even his best pitch.
He is the most dominant pitcher I have ever seen in the minors.
Leiter will have a phenomenal chance at making the starting rotation out of camp next year, IMO.Leiter gives up a solo HR in the 6th. Future Ace.From Scott Lucas:
Kumar Rocker 4.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8 SO. 72 pitches, 47 strikes, 16 misses. 22% SS rate, 44% whiff. 11 misses with breaker(s) out of 14 swings. That's pretty good.
A couple of changes, best as I can tell, for a call and a foul. FB 97-100, at least 4 triple digits.
I think having Holland and Feliz in the upper levels at the same time was the only time I can remember feeling this good about two pitching prospects in the upper levels.Leiter will have a phenomenal chance at making the starting rotation out of camp next year, IMO.
Rocker looks like an absolute beast, and should start next year in AAA with a legitimate shot at making the rotation at some point next year.
Like you, I don't want to rush him. Let him develop, but it might not take him very long at this rate, haha.
Rocker one night. Bradford the next night. And then Leiter the third night. Then we will let Teodo take care of the 4th night. DeGrom can hold the fort until Rosario catches up to them.Future Ace.
