Honestly I hope to hear CY beat the podium most of the time and JD can live in the shadows

Personally, who the public face is should be near the bottom of the list of priorities, in my opinion. They could run the Crawler out there to yammer on about Odor and Banny if they wanted. Or no one at all. I want to see results on the field and progress for the organization. I like what I'm seeing so far of the Chris Young era.

Eventually that will happen, but I think it is taking longer than most thought it would.

No, I know it is nothing personal.

I don't believe I ever said or implied back then that CY would not have responsibilities by now. I did think it would take some time. Back then, I am not sure I even considered when the frontman situation would change. I just remember there were some who disagreed about how much control JD would ever relinquish.

I am just glad a mgr move is being made and I hope they get it right or got it right
It has been some sloppy ball. This needs to be an emphasis going forward and next spring training
