Heaney departing early brings up a question as to why he didn't go to the pen instead of Dunning. Since the beginning of August, Dunning has went a little over an inning longer per start than Heaney. That would mean one less inning per start, for the bullpen to be in the game with Dunning in the rotation instead of Heaney. Another botched decision by "Botchy."

This is beyond embarrassing. Sborz is not even a minor league level pitcher. Even awful bullpen pitchers can come in and not allow 6 runs in 0.1 innings.

Should never have Sborz put in this situation, nor should he even be in the bullpen. Bochy and CY completely botched this up at the deadline. Makes me wonder about the both of them thinking they did enough at the deadline

Every game it’s essentially a starting pitcher and 6 batters vs. an entire other team. We have 3 hitters who are utterly useless and a bullpen that is completely unusable.

So unless the starting pitcher goes very late into the game or the 1-6 hitters are somehow able to outscore the bullpen’s ineptitude, we lose for sure.

The whole pen is bad but our RHP pen guys are really exposed. Mentioned Bush earlier and really don’t want Andsrson.

I would have gone with Perez but your right we don’t have much to bring in but the problem for me was not getting more pieces at the deadline. Stratton was fine but clearly not enough.
