Is it mandatory for all Rangers relievers to give up a run every inning they pitch? Is that a team rule or something?

The Rangers just don’t have the pitching to do anything in the playoffs, if they can get there.

The bottom 3 kill us constantly. Just a little support would be appreciated. The best Smith can do is fly out to center

Heaney departing early brings up a question as to why he didn't go to the pen instead of Dunning. Since the beginning of August, Dunning has went a little over an inning longer per start than Heaney. That would mean one less inning per start, for the bullpen to be in the game with Dunning in the rotation instead of Heaney. Another botched decision by "Botchy."
