Scherzer pitches well and goes at least 6. I say we have a small lead going into the 7th and then after that we will have to put on our seatbelts.

I think it's a battle for the wild card regardless. We have multiple games with Seattle and Toronto and both have struggled through what was supposed to be an easier part of their schedule. Houston has an easier schedule.

Hate to tell you this, but they could win tonight 21-3 and it's still a battle for the wild card with them.

You can't go 6-14 during the most crucial stretch and expect to be anything other than a wild card team at best.

I can understand that thought process but with 4 games against Toronto and 7 with Seattle I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

Essentialy we have no offense from the OF. Missing Jung does not help. Heim has not been himself after injury. Other than Lowe Semien and Seager you have little offense unless Garver is playing. The bench is awful. How do you win with that?
