No More "Bullpen Failure"
As far as I know, he is.Is Scherzer still pitching?

Scherzer pitches well and goes at least 6. I say we have a small lead going into the 7th and then after that we will have to put on our seatbelts. What are we looking at tonight? Do we get shut out 8-0?
I think it's a battle for the wild card regardless. We have multiple games with Seattle and Toronto and both have struggled through what was supposed to be an easier part of their schedule. Houston has an easier schedule.Tonight’s game is biggest of the season. With a loss it’s 3 behind Astros and with their easier schedule the division is out. Battle for a wild card maybe.
Everything matters whether you are in the pennant race or not.
Team development and learning still can and should occur
Are you suggesting just forfeit the remaining games?

Can't agree with that.Of course not, that's a ridiculous question.
I was simply pointing out that who we play the rest of the way is inconsequential.
Can't agree with that.
I can understand that thought process but with 4 games against Toronto and 7 with Seattle I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet. This team will get embarrassed against every other team playing in the postseason. This team would get embarrassed playing Oakland right now.
Maybe, maybe not.Battle for wild card not
September records.Hate to tell you this, but they could win tonight 21-3 and it's still a battle for the wild card with them.
You can't go 6-14 during the most crucial stretch and expect to be anything other than a wild card team at best.
That's what I was alluding to. The Mariners are kind of choking yoo.September records.
Astros 2-3
Mariners 1-4
Rangers 1-4
Nobody even playing .500 yet. Not giving up yet. Too early.
not everything though. Can’t believe Scherzer is issue. Seen bad culture win too.I think it's over.
There is something really wrong in that clubhouse.
True, we are 1-4 and the Mariners are too. We are also 4-14. Without the way we ended August, I wouldn't call 1-4 choking. To me it is the 4-14 that says we are choking. That's what I was alluding to. The Mariners are kind of choking yoo.
Essentialy we have no offense from the OF. Missing Jung does not help. Heim has not been himself after injury. Other than Lowe Semien and Seager you have little offense unless Garver is playing. The bench is awful. How do you win with that?True, we are 1-4 and the Mariners are too. We are also 4-14. Without the way we ended August, I wouldn't call 1-4 choking.
