I do to. Just thinking of away to get Smith in the lineup once Jung gets back. Smith might be possibly better defensively.I love Seager as our SS.

I think Taveras goes to the bench if and when Jung and Carter get back.I do to. Just thinking of away to get Smith in the lineup once Jung gets back. Smith might be possibly better defensively.
Stil want a stronger bench. Prefer Traveras over Grossman and Jankowski but really like two better guys if FA or bring Duran back.I think Taveras goes to the bench if and when Jung and Carter get back.
I am not sure anyone has cornered the market on realityWhat has happened to reality? The way the offense has played, why on earth would anyone believe they are magicly going to turn around ? We have no idea where Jung stands to hitting after returning. Unless they do turn around, then DeGrom and Mahle won't matter either. Reality is a huge hill to climb. Truly hope I am wrong.
What reaction do you have for, if we don't show improvement we might as well sell to greatly improve our chances between 2025 and 2030?My comment is an reaction to we are doomed this year so we best sell
Of course fine get worse why it sell but it’s like most here think we are dead in the waterWhat reaction do you have for, if we don't show improvement we might as well sell to greatly improve our chances between 2025 and 2030?
I think waiting a week and a half to decide is the most popular opinion there is. That one would be followed by "we have to be buyers" no matter what.Of course fine get worse why it sell but it’s like most here think we are dead in the water
I guess an unpopular opinion on my part
I said before give it to the end of thrnnonth. It that does not fit “reality”. lol
Reality is quite the buzz word! Not sure Webster has cornered the market on thisSome here do not comprehend "reality". DEF: state of the world as they actually exist.
1.injured players returning date is when and will they perform up to par? deGrom Mahle Carter- this is reality. 2.Will Garcia Heim and Lowe return to hitting BA?-reality 3.Grossman Ski Hill is current ineffective bench.-reality 4.Hinzer is a terrible back up catcher and needs replacing.- reality
Will 1.- 4. come to pass to winning satisfaction? We do not know and that is "REALITY".
I'm not pulling the plug either. But realiy is the unknown and we still do not have fact to know what CY is thinking. So I remain in limbo until certain facts are known.Reality is quite the buzz word! Not sure Webster has cornered the market on this
Agree with the final statement. We do not know our future reality but the question is how we pursue our current reality. A 3rd place team who are defending champs currently 5 games out and with a possibility of injured players being a huge help
The lineup dynamic could be enough to propel this team
So I live in optimism awaiting this reality know one knows.
FWIW I agree that certain recurrent realities must change
Just not ready to pull the plug
Crazy mystery timeline of Jung and Carter. Makes it difficult to speculateI'm not pulling the plug either. But realiy is the unknown and we still do not have fact to know what CY is thinking. So I remain in limbo until certain facts are known.
To me it’s the next 7 games and especially the 4 against the White Sox which have won 10 road games as of today.I would imagine the decision to buy or sell will be made with at least 48 hours to go before the deadline. The deadline is July 30 at 5:00 PM CDST. That means there are 10 games left to make a decision.
7-10 wins means we are buyers
1-3 wins probably means we are sellers
4-6 wins just muddies the waters. Then it would depend on what the teams we are chasing do. That is what I hope does not happen.
