I know how this movie ends. Rangers have a chance to bust a game open and Bochy chooses to keep arguably the worst hitter in baseball in the game and now the worst bullpen in baseball has to protect a 2-0 lead. Good grief.

Bochy should have had someone ready. Almost 40 pitches for Stratton. That’s too many. You could see this coming from Gelof.

And we wonder why the Rangers have given up. Exhibit A: chance to blow game open, stay with Hedges. Then bullpen blows yet another game. If we get swept by the As Bochy should be fired immediately. The team is terrible and he's clearly making them worse.

Grossman is a mediocre outfielder hitting in the 230's but I wish many of our players would have the approach he has at the plate. He makes the pitcher work.

I have read where Snadler and others say Evan Carter didn't play because he struggled against lefties this year. That raises some questions.

So why wouldn't they wait until he improves in that respect?

If they just had to bring him up to face righties, when will he get the experience he need to hit lefties, next year in the minors?

Sandler said that wins are more important than him getting experience against them in the big leagues. As we found out this year wins in April and May are extremely important. That means he would be platooned next April doesn't it, since they need wins in April. So will he always be platooned every year until they are mathematically eliminated?

Now maybe the excuse givers are out of touch with the Rangers plan, but if they aren't it is a head-scratcher.
