I have never considered Cody Freeman much of a prospect, but the night he had last night deserves some attention. He went 5-5 with 2 HRs



Cody has played all the infield positions. He could make a valuable bench player in the big leagues if he is really coming into his own with the bat.

Evan Grant answers a question about Cody Bradford's health:

ME: Bradford had a cortisone injection in his back on April 15 and has started working out again, but I’ve not gotten an estimation of time that he will miss other than the stiffness/lower back strain was a little more severe or painful than initially thought. At this point, he’s now missed almost two weeks and I assume he’ll need at least one rehab start if not more. That’s about all I’ve got at the moment. Troubles me I don’t have more. But I was told last week that surgery was not a concern, so I guess there is that.
