This is probably the last time for in-game batting practice this year. Make hay while the sun shines.

Big stink knows it too. The little turd is feasting on oriole pitching.

You seriously just can't help but bitch bitch bitch, you complain when he doesn't play well, you complain if he does

He’s the worst MLB regular player for 3+ years at this point. Odor playing well in the final month of the season is counter productive if you like this team.

Surely you don’t want him to convince decision makers to give him another chance? We all know he will be awful again in 2020.

Haha late to the party but it looks like some hay made against Tate.

Good AB by Willie R and smart AB to the hole by Solak

We get it, we don't need you to explain it to us day after day, telling us repeatedly convinces no one in the front office or the dugout

And we actually don't know that, he's had good seasons and bad seasons, usually in alternating years no less

Thank god its football season and I have fewer reasons to come to this board

Re Odor. Weirder things have happened- players getting better after his young age after subpar seasons.

Issue many have on this board is thinking the coming season the best player will not play. Some think it FO politics

Don't think Solak is going anywhere and he will play next season IMO

Odor is what 25 and he’s got 24 homers and he’s one of the worst players in MLB? And it’s time to dump Mazara too?
Not great years for either of them but what’s the standard here, a .300 average and 30 to 40 home runs for every guy in the line up?

He has had about 3000 AB in the big leagues. I don't recall anyone turning it around after that many AB, no matter their age. Cruz was famous for being a late bloomer and he did his magic after about 560 AB. What Cruz did is considered unusual. Odor has had between 5 and 6 times as many chances as Cruz had before he turned it around. I think that puts it into the proper perspective.

The only reason anyone might expect FO politics is because that has been par for the course for awhile. Hopefully, that is changing. If not, we are beyond hope.

Something has to change.

For the fans who watch the games nearly every day, something really needs to change.

If woody is going to continue to run Odor out there nearly every game, we might as well have just kept Banny because that’s what he loved to do.

The goal should be close to what we had in 2011. It won't take .300 and 30 plus HR for everyone to do that. It will take a lot better offensive personnel than we have now though, overall.

It is an organizational decision. They said as much several days ago, so I am not sure why you are surprised by it. We just have to hope they make the wise decision when this month is over and tell him he is no longer a starter.

Have to say a bit disappointed in Adrus second half numbers. But he leads the team in BA.

Some team will snatch him up fairly quickly.

Dave D has had to work with a surplus budget over the years. Huge high dollar signings that perhaps the owners don't see as wise. Farm is considered thin. Doubt it is a small market team he works for next.

He also has a history of doing good things with small budget reams. He won the Execitive of the Year award with the Expos, and the Marlins won a WS when he was there.
