Would perfer Semien in 2 hole and Seager hitting 3rd.
I'd prefer each of them hitting about 50 points higher, but things are what they are.

Anyone remember the trade with Cleveland where we sent DeShields and Emmanuel Clase to Cleveland for Kluber. We could use Clase now.
Hear we have the 7Th best pen based upon ERA. They generate a ton of ground balls. Their one big bogey. Strikeouts. Which is what Clase is all about. His stuff is electricAnyone remember the trade with Cleveland where we sent DeShields and Emmanuel Clase to Cleveland for Kluber. We could use Clase now.
probably but if they are paying them to perform to full capability then they should be able toteams can't force players to get surgeries, if I'm not mistaken.
I don't think they will bring him back. Just put him on the IL. Let it play out.probably but if they are paying them to perform to full capability then they should be able to

no but if he's on the injury list and he would be if he's injured and needing surgery. so the Rangers would have to cover his optionI don't think they will bring him back. Just put him on the IL. Let it play out.
Thats OK. At least he will not be blocking anyone.no but if he's on the injury list and he would be if he's injured and needing surgery. so the Rangers would have to cover his option
i understand but the Garver situation is different in that, yes, the Rangers will still have to pay this year's salary no matter what. but if he delays the surgery until after the season then the Rangers would have to pick up his option for 2023 because of his injury statusthat's not how baseball contracts work, for the most part. players get paid no matter what. Anthony Rendon is out for the season but still got in the middle of the brawl the other day, and the Angels still have to pay him every penny of that $30+ million this year.
in some ways he would be because once he's cleared by the doctors and he completes rehab he has to come backThats OK. At least he will not be blocking anyone.

sad thingthat's his right as a player.
Not this year and that is what we should be concerned about. Will make Huff's position better.in some ways he would be because once he's cleared by the doctors and he completes rehab he has to come back
This is how they should have handled him a few weeks ago.Of course the best thing to have done would have been to have kept Garver on the DL until he could catch. There is no rule saying you have to take a position player off of the DL as soon as he is able to hit.
Kind of like Prince Fielder. Couldn’t play anymore, but still on the payroll.that's not how baseball contracts work, for the most part. players get paid no matter what. Must be tough.Shit, Bobby Bonilla still gets $1m from the Mets every year. And he hasn't played in a long, long time.
