I could see Cheerios getting some ABs vs LHPs at 1B

And why not? What do we have to lose with trying him there? Giminez too for that matter. We've got a two headed monster - Murphy/Pena now - so I don't really see a down side.

Anything but that Choice :bawling:

Poor guy.....he needs to be at RR in some kind of big way......Adduci should be back in about 3 weeks if memory serves.

:noidea:

I'd like to see Cheerios work the count a little better though

Not sure what the plan for Soto would/should be once he's healthy

I'm glad the Rangers have finally cobbled together a somewhat effective bullpen

Tolleson (3.52), Cotts (3.41), Soria (2.70), Frasor (2.13), Baker (5.93) as the long man, and then there's Rowen (3.18) who was not impressive at all in his last outing but seemed to be ok before that... we shall see

Lots of missed opportunities today. Would hate to see this one get away.

Choice 5 for his last 55. Needs to be sent down.

I've been saying this for a month......but problem is, who comes up is our rub?....... at this point, at least to me, I'd just as soon see Robertson play and MC go down.

Don't udmisunderstand, MC has a future here, I think, and Robertson doesn't. But we're absolutely torturing Choice by putting him in over his head day after day IMO. I just hope we're not damaging his psychological approach long term.

Besides, we knew he needed a solid 400+ AB in the minors before next season to be properly evaluated. He's only here due to circumstances; most of which weren't of his doing.

That kind of day. Guess you kinda question bringing in Soria as to how the Twins have hit him this year. But the whole day has been going their way

At this point i would put Robertson out there, and call up Hoying from AAA.

Great 9th. We swung at the bad pitches and watched the good ones go by. But on a positive we had 3 straight good starts.
