Heaven forbid.....the guy threw 10 pitches and struck out the side. And all 3 looked like crap.

Great 9th. We swung at the bad pitches and watched the good ones go by. But on a positive we had 3 straight good starts.

Ya know....that's totally true.

Reminder to all of us: JD has made it official, this season is now about evaluation and growth. Not W's vs L's.

So good point on the 3 excellent starts.

We took the series, but losing this game the way we did took a lot of joy out of it, it seems. To a Twin pitcher who had a terrible away era. Only the 2014 Rangers.

He's 1-1 regardless of what the box score says, and damn lucky to be that instead of 0-2.

But hey....he's been a bright spot, and we sat him way too long. Sometimes, IMO, screw the circumstances, ya gotta let a guy get some pitches in, just to keep him semi-fresh. We didn't do this.

And before I bad mouth Soria, all we had to do was score a few runs and this conversation wouldn't be taking place.

Their first 2 runs were pretty lucky and we can't score w a guy on 3rd and no outs, frustrating. Soria did need to get some work in during that 8 game losing streak and it showed here
