I think the ownership group was heavily involved in odors playing time. They didn’t want to pay some guy 30 million to rot on the bench.

If neither Dahl, Gallo or Calhoun get injured I am not sure how he is going to get enough playing time to have trade value.

I hope all these new guys and new positions means ownership is getting out of the way and letting the smart people make the decisions.

I learned a long time ago "smart" is a subjective term...

First off you have to be able to make sense of what you see, then form a game plan on how to use it, then be able to communicate it in an intelligible manner to the players without information overload, then the players have to figure out how to get it done (if they understood it) when the average AB success rate is 25% or less...

I'm not saying what they're doing won't work or won't improve the team all I'm saying is don't be surprised if it doesn't help...

Sometimes the best things are the simplest things "Just hit the GD ball hard somewhere in play or into the OF bleachers"...

And lack of Woody's refusing to manufacture runs. Seems that part of the game has just disappeared. A sac bunt at the right time is no worse than one more K especially with a lefty up and the shift on with runners on base and no outs.

We parked in Parking lot J and that made for quick access to the stadium. The only bad thing so far is they opened the roof.

We were third in line to get in so we got our Beltre bobblehead.
