Exactly. Unless, they move him to the pen and he succeeds there.I predict there will not be a large market for Lyles. Or a small market. Or any market.
Probably but put him out there anyway and see. Nothing lost.I predict there will not be a large market for Lyles. Or a small market. Or any market.
I was wondering about teams being interest in Yang, but I can't find how long he is under control.
I was really looking forward to seeing Dunning in person. Oh well.
They aren't, even though the pitching has been good it's way too unsettled in the way of SPers and the same in the batting lineup right now. I do see them making moves though and hopefully they will get some AAA players almost ready to make their move upwards, like another SP and another CFer.I'm just hoping they don't drink the kool-aid I see a lot of fans starting to and think this team is just a piece or two away from being a legit postseason team.

Other than the overall budget, do you think this ownership group has been really hands on? I have always assumed they have the biggest say in the budget and then allow JD to talk them into spending a little more when he is persuasive enough. Other than that, I have assumed they just want to be kept informed. I would imagine when it comes to the overall direction, such as rebuilding or not, that that would need to be discussed with them prior to reaching a final decision. I could be wrong, but none of our local media have repoorted otherwise, to my recollection.I hope all these new guys and new positions means ownership is getting out of the way and letting the smart people make the decisions.
I’m okay with Kennedy and even King but I wouldn’t do a Gallo deal unless it was heavy in our favorWould like to add Gallo, Kennedy and King to that group. Good BP help is always needed.
Possible but with us already eating Odor’s contract I think the owners will exhaust every trade possibility firstI would not be surprised if Davis gets released before the deadline.

That should take about one afternoon at this point of the season.Possible but with us already eating Odor’s contract I think the owners will exhaust every trade possibility first

They seem very passive when compared to some of our other local owners, that's for sure.
