I think they want White to get a lot more minor league experience. Since he is the next guy up after Bradford, they probably want to keep him stretched out.

They could send Ragans down and let him get stretched out so White doesn't have to come back up in the next emergency situation.

Ohtani and Trout will get about 8 AB’s between them tonight. I would issue 4 walks depending on situation and which one is batting and let the other guys on their team try and beat you. Bradford and White haven’t seen anything close to these guys in the minors. Ohtani is red hot and Trout is due anytime to break out and he loves to hit in Texas.

since the decision was made to put minimal effort into the last game of the Cardinals series this team has been out of sync. thought they might have shaken it last night during the 1st 3 innings but the team relapsed and was totally ineffective the rest of the way
