Thing that was different tonight was the long ball. Most hits against him have been grounders in the hole.Seems like I remember someone being worried about Dyson recently.
Oh yeah, it was me.

It appears that way, but I am willing to wait a little while to see if Dyson and Diekman get better and if Kela comes back pitching well.Do you agree we need some better options than what we have now though?
Yeah...that's a ticket to see Dr. Keith Meister
It is amazing the record we have with the number of games we have blown at the end.
Texas is going to be linked to every starter/reliever until Aug 1st and then a few days after that.
Tough loss. Watched most of the game with wife at our favorite hang out. Came home popped on the tube and saw the 9th. Probably should have stayed out and have another beer.
Regroup and press on tomorrow.
I agree. Why would he not? Too much on the line imo to ignore. What is strange is that the last 2 aces we've faced, Price and Tanaka, we have hit really well and built up nice comfortable leads...only to blow them both in the 9th inning.
Generally teams have about 3 just ridiculous meltdown losses per season. So with these last 2 against Boston and NY plus the May debacle against the As, I'm hoping we've hit our quota for the season!
Hopefully just another bump in the road but clearly the bullpen is becoming a bigger and bigger story. I believe JD is confident that SP will be OK when and if everyone is healthy again. My guess is he makes a strong bullpen move by the deadline though, in addition to the return of Kela.
